About the position In this position youwill develop high technology solutions within 5Gtogether with your team, in close cooperation with colleagues and customers world wide.As a software developer at Tietoevry, you will be challenged in your problem-solving and analytical skills as youdevelop the latest technology in telecommunications. This includes further development of the 5G network.

The development process is characterised byabstract programming, which makes it appealing to you who are motivated by methodical working methods such as; breaking down problems, analyzing, programming, testing and documentation.The code is close to the hardware but with a distinct abstraction layer which makes it software-oriented.

The central programming languages you'd be working with are real-time C and C++, but you would also come across Java, Golang, Perl and Python. Common tools used are GIT, Eclipse, Jira, Gerrit and Jenkins. For simulation and modeling they work with Matlab and Octave.

You will be part of a non-prestigious team of eight people with varied experience, where you have an agile way of working in three-week sprints.If you want to be part of a workplace with modern values, where you have every opportunityto continue growing within your chosen field,this is the place for you!

Your qualifications

• Worklife experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on C/C++ design and programming.
• Experience working withinRadiocommunication and Signaling are strongly meritorious
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

Personal skills We believe that you are a teamplayer that genuinly enjoys growing and learning new skills.You will also have to be analytical and patient in your mindset when confronting a problem or challenge. Identifying errors with troubleshooting, analysis and testing takes quite some time. This is where patience and persistence is one key factor to be fit for this position.
