Transformers Service is a business unit within Hitachi Energy Sweden that supervise installation and provide service on transformers and reactors up to the highest apparent power and voltages on the market today, 1500 MVA and 1100kV respectively. The unit also offers diagnostics, regeneration, and spare parts to customers worldwide.

In our Diagnostic department we perform measurements and analyses of oil and material from all kinds of transformers to fully identify the health of our customers transformers and fleets.

Your responsibilities

  • As a Junior Condition Assessment Engineer, you will apply your experience and technical skills in a broad variety of interesting assignments:
  • Work with condition, life and risk assessments of Transformers and Reactors
  • Evaluate measuring data and interpret electrical measurements
  • Take part in and propose future R&D projects
  • Work closely with colleagues at various departments
  • Given our global arena, you will have the opportunity to make international business trips and experience large parts of the world
  • Broaden your skills further and deepen your knowledge in challenging settings – a great foundation for your future with us

Your background

  • You hold a university degree with specialization in Physics or Power. Experienced professionals or fresh out of university – we are interested in all kinds of people
  • We highly value your accuracy and ability to work systematically and take responsibility
  • You thrive whether working independently or in teams, getting the chance to contribute with your open-mind and strong focus on customers and results
  • Swedish language, both oral and written, is mandatory but as you will be part of a company that operates on a global arena, you also need to be proficient in English
  • Openness to travel within Sweden when needed
