Product Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Position:

As a Product Regulatory Compliance Specialist for ScandStick and Linerless (Beontag companies), you will be a critical member of the organisation's governance structure. You will be focused on preventing improper conduct of vendors, employees, and partners by developing, implementing, and enforcing policies. You will proactively reduce compliance risks and ensure that our organisation adheres to ethical standards, laws, and industry regulations.

Office: Höganäs, Sweden.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce procedures and policies related to our products to ensure the organisation's compliance with industry and government regulations

• Develop and provide employee training on compliance policies, practices, safety and environment

• Track and respond to complaints and claims, customer questionnaires

• Maintain records of compliance activities

• Communicate with government agencies

• Prepare and file compliance reports on waste management, gas, electricity, etc

• Manage internal ESG reporting and point of contact for ESG questions from customers

• Monitor and manage REACH regulation, certifications, and audits (FSC and ISEGA), being the supplier contact to manage and obtain certifications • AOB in relation to R&D support

• Consistent risk assessments to recognise areas where the company might be vulnerable to non-compliance.

• Working with other departments in the company, such as the legal, human resources and finance departments, to ensure compliance of all departments.

• Consulting with the legal department and advising leadership and management on compliance matters

• Identifying, investigating, and reporting compliance issues, irregularities, and violations

Experience and skills desired

• Proven work experience within the role or similar and solid knowledge of the industry standards, laws, and regulations in Europe

• Demonstrable experience in compliance and risk management, preferable within chemicals and ingredients industry

• Experience in conducting audits and investigations and providing relevant strategies

• Relevant training and/or certifications as a Product Regulatory Compliance Specialist

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to manage documentation and reports

• Proactive and creative problem-solving mindset

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Fluent in English and a major Scandinavian language is mandatory
