As the Chief Accounting Officer you will play an important role in enabling the USS Group to achieve our high ambitions for financial reporting.

The Chief Accounting Officer will be part of a highly qualified team in a centrally located office in Gothenburg and will report to the Chief Financial Officer located in Oslo, Norway.

You will work closely with the group's Central Finance team and local finance functions in our subsidiaries across Europe to ensure high quality in the financial reporting.

Key responsibilities:
  • monthly consolidation and reporting for the USS Group according to Swedish GAP
  • the key stakeholder regarding annual reporting including consolidation for the full USS Group
  • analyse, follow up and provide professional support to subsidiaries
  • contribute to continuous development, automation and streamlining of the reporting process
  • assist in accounting, tax considerations and contact towards group auditors (KPMG)
  • participate in internal trainings
  • ad hoc tasks and projects

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting and/or auditing
  • Preferably minimum three years of relevant experience, preferably from auditing and Group accounting
  • solid accounting skills experience and interest in Swedish GAP
  • Swedish and English work proficiency skills, oral and written
  • strong Excel and system skills/interest
  • experience with consolidation tools
  • experience and interest with Power BI is a plus
