Business Analyst

We offer An exciting role where you, as Business Analyst, will assist our Stena companies to achieve business value through IT. At Stena Group IT we have a unique position where we deliver to all business units across Stena AB. This means we are at the intersection of delivering business technology to harness renewable energy, create smart buildings, pilot cognitive ferries, and much more

As a Business Analyst you will:

• Translate high-level business requirements to low-level technical requirements ready for development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical experts, to gather and document business requirements for various projects.
• Analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in processes.
• Create detailed process maps and workflows to help streamline operations and optimize efficiency.
• Identify issues, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in processes and propose innovative solutions.

About you To be successful in this role you are an excellent communicator in both English and Swedish and have great interpersonal skills. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You have a passion for well documented requirements and an ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. We believe that you have previous documented experience working with IT system development and/or configuration of standard applications.

A familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) is a plus.

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and at least 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
