Instrument engineer/technician in MedTech

We at Randstad Life Sciences are currently looking for instrument engineers and/or technicians in the field of life science for future full-time consultant positions.

The scope of the initial assignment varies depending on the client and the assignment. As this is an "open advertisement" to cover future assignments, we have not set yet an assignment length, but the average is approx. 6 months. You will acquire competencies necessary to perform independent work in an industrial environment. As an instrument engineer/technician you will be responsible for installing, monitoring, and maintaining control systems and machinery needed in a medical technology company. 

Responsibilities

• Develop I/O Lists and Instrument Indexes
• Develop schematics, drawings, work instructions/method statements in accordance with best practice
• Preparation of instrumentation specifications 
• Develop Instrument data sheets and take responsibility of the complete and verification life cycle  
• Consult with clients, project team and contracts managers to develop a full understanding of technical requirements                                    
• Cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in a relevant instrumentation Engineering discipline, preferably related with medical technologies
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a  company involved in delivering Instrumentation & Control (I&C) designs for the MedTech, Pharmaceutical and Life Science Sectors
• Ability to deliver automation and systems scopes of works and contribute to or develop functional specifications (FS) and user requirements specifications (URS) for these
• Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills in both English and Swedish.
