Join Swedish Match engineering team and make a difference within Track & Trace! The Digital Engineering department within Operations & Supply Chain is seeking a Track and Trace Specialist. This department is new and evolving, and Track & Trace (T&T) is a key area. You will help build and manage a T&T network both within the company and with external partners. The goal is to make our department a center of excellence for T&T, providing the best support to the organization. As a Track and Trace Specialist, you will act as a subject matter expert on T&T functionalities covering both production and logistics operations. You will troubleshoot and analyze T&T processes to optimize and streamline them. Collaborating cross-functionally with the business, you will establish processes adapted to the T&T system and its requirements. Additionally, you will propose new features that improve efficiency and minimize errors through proactivity and innovation. Your contributions will be essential to the T&T roadmap for optimizations, expanded usage, and strategic improvements. You will create and participate in strategic projects involving T&T and establish and maintain design guidelines within T&T in collaboration with other competencies in the field. This position is based in Gothenburg, and you will reside in centrally located premises together with other functions within Operations and Supply Chain and our factories. You will report to Manager Digital Engineering who values ownership, innovation, and cooperation in the workplace. Your profile We are looking for someone with a technical university education or equivalent, and previous experience in the manufacturing industry. It is an advantage if you have worked with T&T before. To succeed you must be analytical and structured but most importantly you have a keen interest in technology. Additionally, you thrive in a team setting utilizing your strong communication skills and solid project management understanding. We also see that you are proficient in both Swedish and English. The role involves cross-functional work and collaborations both vertically and horizontally, for instance with automation engineers, IT, Warehouse & Transportation, Legal, and Master Data. The role will require travel activity between our factories and other external locations. You will be a part of a strong team with a great sense of ownership and joy in the work we do.
