Are you ready to make a difference? Mölnlycke is now looking for a Global Inventory Lead – Wound Care to join us. This position can be placed either at our global HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden or at our hub in Norcross, USA.

As a Global Inventory Lead within the Wound Care Business Area, you will be at the forefront of managing and optimizing inventory levels on a global scale for our Wound Care portfolio, including Mepilex®, Exufiber®, and Avance® Solo. Your expertise will ensure that our inventory management aligns seamlessly with Mölnlycke’s strategic goals, delivering value to our patients, healthcare providers and customers worldwide.

Your main tasks include:

  • Develop and execute E2E inventory management strategies that support the Wound Care Business Area’s objectives
  • Manage the inventory forecasting/budgeting process (120M EUR) on a quarterly basis, collecting information/assumptions from various stakeholders
  • Analyze supply chain logistics and inventory risks related to finished goods and raw material availability due to geopolitical factors or natural disasters and understand impacts of macro-economic trends
  • Collaborate with procurement and production sites to ensure optimization of wound care raw material inventory levels
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives in inventory management, utilizing Rapid Response and other digital/AI tools
  • Validate- and ensure accuracy and completeness of our master data related to our products and inventory locations.
  • Implement strategies to minimize obsolete or excess inventory across all product lines and lead the monthly SLOB process, including proactive stock transfer proposals

What you’ll need

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in inventory management within a global FMCG, FMCH or Medical Device supply chain
  • Advanced Excel skills with an ability to handle and visualize big data
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with senior stakeholders and convey complex information clearly, together with strong presentation skills
  • Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and supply chain dynamics.
  • Collaboration: A team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams to meet inventory objectives.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory records and reporting.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data and macro-economic and geopolitical trends to make informed decisions regarding inventory management.
