Mölnlycke is now looking for an Associate Laboratory Specialist - Physical Testing

This position is stationed at our headquarters in Gothenburg and soon in our new labs at GoCo Health Innovation City

About the job

In this position you will be leading laboratory method development projects, following the method development process and in close cooperation with stakeholders in other R&D functions.

You will be coordinating the laboratory activities in innovation projects in close collaboration with different R&D functions, including planning the laboratory deliverables and leading the testing team to achieve the projects goals.

You will also plan, coordinate and execute test and verification activities, both for new medical device applications as well as activities related to the existing medical device assortment.

What you’ll need

To be successful in this role you will need to have these capabilities:

  • Ability to visualize complex data in a simple way and communicate results and conclusions to a broad type of audience.
  • Be able to bring structure to complex test plans.
  • Analytical skills, i.e. seeing patterns in complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in English, verbal and writing including documentation skills, i.e authoring technical and research reports as well as project documentation.
  • Embrace unfamiliar tasks, open to learn new areas
  • Experience in Fluid handling methods
  • Educational background in chemical engineering, material chemistry or polymer science

Preferably

  • Experience in softness and conformability methods, such as TSA
  • Design of experiments using statistical tools, such as MODDE, Minitab etc.
