Group Financial Controller

We are looking for a Group Financial Controller for a global company in Gothenburg. Start in August, 14 months temporary contract.

Purpose Of Position:

Be an active member of the team with responsibility for certain accounting areas. Participate and lead accounting projects on an as needed basis. Create value by delivering management reports in an accurate and timely manner, thus enable management to make decisions in order to deliver on strategy.

Key accountabilities:

• Monthly Group management report and Corporate function report; coordinating the process and prepare and develop reports in collaboration with Corporate Controller.
• Forecast report; prepare and develop the group report in collaboration with Finance Manager Group FP&A.
• Support Corporate Controller with ad hoc requests for preparation of financial presentations.
• Perform and secure the accuracy of accounting models for monthly FIFO adjustment for DC and market entities and analyze inventory adjustments made by foreign entities.
• Perform and secure the accuracy of accounting models for Group internal profit elimination and stock valuation due to factory variances and fx-effects.
• Perform reconciliations between the Group´s legal and operational P/L and analyze differences in order to identify incorrect postings and imperfections in the current accounting setup.
• Support in group accounting areas as needed such as internal reviews of subsidiaries, accounting for acquisitions and divestments, finance implementation of new entities and the implementation of new IFRS accounting standards etc.

Capabilities; Qualifications And Experience:

• Academic background in accounting and finance or equivalent business experience.
• At least 3 years of group accounting experience from a group accounting position or audit/public accounting. Good IFRS accounting knowledge and understanding of the mechanics and concepts of consolidating the accounting of a Group.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Highly IT literate. Good knowledge of group reporting tools, consolidation software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience from handling advanced accounting issues and prepare/finalize closings.
• Fluency in English and Swedish

This is a full-time consultant position through Incluso in Gothenburg. Start is in August and the contract period is 14 months.
