Business Manager

We start from a small scale in Sweden but have customer agreements, resources, and security from an international consulting company with over 600 employees, with more than 35 years of successful history and great know-how in engineering as well as long-term ambitions. A flexible "start-up" with history and experience.

We are now looking for a second driven and experienced Business Manager to join our team in Gothenburg. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing our business operations with a focus on strengthening our customer relationships and expanding our market presence. A central part of your work will be building the business within your area by recruiting consultants and matching the profile to the right assignments for each customer. You will also play an important role in driving the company's development and strategic direction, as well as significantly influencing the company culture.

The initial focus area for this role is the automotive industry in Gothenburg, with a particular focus on services and customers within Research & Development (R&D) with an emphasis on areas and competencies in electrical and electronics as well as electromobility. Knowledge in these areas and an established network is valuable.

Main Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships with existing and potential clients
• Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability in a sustainable way
• Identify new business opportunities and lead the bidding process
• Recruit and develop consultants to meet business needs, customer requirements and the consultants desired career path
• Sell assignments and projects to customers
• Collaborate with internal teams in Comatec Group to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
• Responsible for budgeting and reporting business results
• Drive the company's development and strategic direction
• Represent Comatec Sweden at industry events and networking meetings

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the engineering or technology sector
• Proven experience in building and developing customer relationships
• Experience in recruitment and personnel development
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a dynamic environment
• Good understanding of engineering services and technical solutions
• Knowledge in electrical and electronics as well as electromobility
• Established network within the automotive industry in Gothenburg is meritorious
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
