Position Overview: DSAB is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior System Design Lead to join our consulting team, focusing on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD) technologies. In this role, you will lead the design and development of innovative systems for our clients, playing a key role in shaping the future of safe and intelligent driving. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various projects, ensuring the successful delivery of cutting-edge automotive solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead system design efforts for AD/ADAS projects, ensuring they align with client goals and timelines.
  • System Architecture: Develop and maintain system architecture for AD/ADAS features, ensuring scalability, robustness, and seamless integration with vehicle platforms.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth technical guidance on system requirements, design specifications, and engineering solutions to ensure high-quality, reliable systems for our clients.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with software, hardware, and integration teams to ensure smooth development and integration of AD/ADAS features across projects.
  • Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in autonomous driving and driver assistance technologies, and apply this knowledge to enhance system design and functionality in client projects.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all designs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and specific quality metrics for each client.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior engineers and team members within DSAB, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.


DSAB´s new colleague needs to have:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-8 years (Junior to Senior) in system design, particularly in the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD) technologies.

Educational Background:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.


Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of AD/ADAS technologies.
  • Proficiency in system architecture design and vehicle integration.
  • Familiarity with system modeling tools and design methodologies.
  • ISO26262, SOTIF, FMEA

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to various audiences.

Innovation and Quality Assurance:

  • Ability to drive innovation and stay updated with the latest advancements in autonomous driving and driver assistance technologies.
  • Ensure designs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company-specific quality metrics.
