We are now looking for a Service Leader in Onshore Wind Operations Sweden for our Southern cluster. The position is an full-time position located in Abild outside of Falkenberg in the south part of Sweden.

The Service Leader will report to the Head of Onshore Operations Sweden, with close cooperation with the Operations & Maintenance managers, Asset Managers, Service Technicians, Support Functions, and external service providers. Currently, the Southern cluster consists of four windfarms located in Halland, Småland and Skåne, and two more are being constructed. The ambition is to find synergies between the sites using a flexible and skilled workforce that is able to operate at all sites, but the main focus for this role is the sites outside of Falkenberg. The scope for this role will also include battery assets that are being built or planned on the windfarms.

Your responsibilities as Service Leader in Onshore Operations Sweden

• Continuous cooperation with the above-mentioned parties to obtain a safe working environment and a high operational efficiency

• Planning and execution of scheduled maintenance, repairs and inspections

• Coordinating unscheduled maintenance and repairs, issuing work orders and work notifications, including responsibility for warehouse management

• Coordinate and quality check work done by service providers

• Perform back-office administration, such as handling finished or outstanding work orders, together with service teams

• On a regular basis report on daily issues and site performance to Operation & Maintenance Managers and other team members mentioned above

• Continuously make quality assurance controls of works together with the service team

• Together with the Operation & Maintenance Managers report planned outages in our internal outage reporting tool

• Coordinate daily on-site activities such as larger maintenance and repair work, internal and external inspections and/or audits

• Take the role of a Service Technician and perform unscheduled maintenance and troubleshooting when needed

• Participate in relevant supplier meetings

• On a regular basis take responsibility for daily readiness telephone and e-mail

• When needed, performing work for other Swedish sites besides the Southern Cluster


Travel and occasional overnight stays to visit our onshore windfarms will be essential to the role.



Qualifications


Your profile as Service Leader in Onshore Operation Sweden

• 3-5 years of experience as a wind turbine service technician and/or a service leader (or a similar role) in wind power

• Strong experience maintaining Siemens direct-driven turbines is required. Knowledge of Vestas and/or Gamesa turbines is preferable but not required

• Relevant wind power technician training and medical clearances, according to Swedish standards, such as GWO, ESA and Mast- och stolpintyg, is preferable but not required (All relevant but missing training will be provided by Vattenfall)

• High voltage switching experience is preferable but not required

• SAP PM and SAP MM experience is preferable but not required

• Team player with strong problem solving, planning and structural skills

• Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing, fluent in Swedish with good English skills

• Flexible and open to travel for some periods at a time

• Results-oriented with a positive and operational mindset
