We are seeking for a dynamic leader who wants to be a part of our Portfolio and Architecture (PnA) leadership team. Together, you’ll drive strategies and deliver results for both your specific area and the entire PnA function and beyond. You’ll be encouraged to take initiative and contribute to our overall success, and to collaborate cross our organization to achieve our goals.

The PnA organization is a global function within Technology at Volvo Construction Equipment. We operate worldwide, engaging in cross-functional collaborations within and beyond Volvo CE and the Volvo Group. Our scope includes engineering support, common architecture and shared technologies framework, management systems, regulatory frameworks, technology environmental roadmaps, solution launch preparation, and strategic and tactical planning of the portfolio. Furthermore, bringing the outside in perspective of all twelve customer segments.

PnA is the hub of the Technology organization, managing Volvo CE’s strategic portfolio and supporting development, sales, and marketing to ensure a “One Volvo Customer Experience” in key areas. Our team of more than 80 people is present and works at all sites. As a member of our leadership team, you will bring your expertise to collaborate cross-functionally within Volvo CE, the Volvo Group, and with external stakeholders. You’ll build a culture that motivates people to be both collaborative and self-driven. Beyond operational responsibilities, you’ll challenge the status quo, seek continuous improvement, and inspire your peers and employees with a communicative leadership approach.

THE TEAM YOU WILL LEAD

The Engineering support and Management systems team is a centralized function to support engineers in Europe and North America with change work, tools, standards, product structure and requirements. The team owns and drives the development of PPD Operating model including governance processes and audits as well as leading internal standard development. The team will play a key part in shaping the way of working and collaborate with all other functions in Technology to align on governance models and collaborate with functions across the Volvo Group to align on product development best practices.
