IT Project Manager to Heavy machinery manufacturer

As a Project Manager, you will lead a temporary organization created to develop and enhance the company's through business and IT solutions. You understand that business value comes from a customer perspective and use IT and digital tools to enable business functions within company. You strive to deliver value by ensuring a fast flow and frequently delivering customer value through efficient processes, quick decisions, and a high degree of autonomy with reliable and motivated colleagues, often across the group. You create effective collaboration between multiple disciplines and work closely with business stakeholders to understand the value, benefits, and business advantages. To thrive and succeed in the role should the ideal candidate should be a good listener, communicative, and calm, with the ability to handle complex and challenging situations. They should excel at connecting people and teams, acting as a bridge between users' needs and project requirements, and combining project management with agile methodologies. Adaptability is crucial.

In terms of technical skills, the candidate should ideally have experience in IT Project Management, with strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to manage stakeholders and complex issues. While proficiency in CATIA and CREO is a plus, it is not required. Project management certifications like PMO or PMP are beneficial but not strictly necessary, as the team works in a hybrid of agile and traditional project management. The role offers a hybrid work model, with two days on-site, and some travel within Sweden may be required.

• Establish a project organization for the CREO implementation with internal teams and suppliers, propose a governance structure, and select/adapt work methodologies and tools to suit the project context.
• Ensure that the CATIA to CREO project delivers according to the indicators defined for the chosen delivery method.
• Actively contribute to the creation or improvement of project management methods, tools, and guidelines, and be able to conduct project reviews or audits.
• Plan and manage activities related to change management, communication, organizational changes, skills, and training requirements.
• Advise and lead others by offering deep expertise in project management and collaborate cross-functionally with experts in other areas.
• Act as a mentor and servant leader for colleagues, sharing your experiences. You are recognized as a role model within the organization and have taken a clear leadership role in the internal development and growth of culture.
• Collaborate with the CAD Digital Product Manager and CAD team, following the company's strategy and priorities.

• Master of Science in Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree or equivalent
• A couple of years of working experience as a Project Manager
• Great communication skills
• Stakeholder management
• Fluent in English and Swedish is meritorious

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from both the client and our side is that you will be directly employed by the client after 6-12 months.
