We are proud to be able to deliver our own designed furniture that is 100% made in Sweden!

The name Crea comes from Latin "to create" and that is exactly what we want to do, create furniture in a minimalist Scandinavian design that is unique in color and shape. What also differs from many other companies is that by Crea® adapts all its furniture so that each individual gets the furniture they want.

Today, by Crea® is a recognized furniture design company that receives attention in interior design magazines, celebrity blogs, TV and on the internet in people's homes. by Crea® stands for timeless design, quality & our ambition is to always exceed our customers' expectations.

Our largest markets are the US, UK, Germany, France and the remaining EU countries but we also export to Asia and South America.


We now need to expand our design team and are looking for a standalone pattern constructor to take our designer's designs and turn them into reality. To apply for the job you should have:

  • Worked as a pattern designer at a furniture company abroad or in Sweden.


  • Experience in industrial design and industrial manufacturing of textile furniture.


  • Knowledge of drawing programs to be able to draw the initial stage of the idea/design. E.g: CAD, Sketchup, etc.


  • Experience sewing with industrial sewing machines and overlock machines. You should be able to not only draw/design but also sew finished prototypes of for instance pillows with zippers, covers and so on. After a prototype is completed you will train and instruct our tailors/seamstresses on how to produce the new product.


  • Worked with taking a product from drawing and idea to reality in sewing. You should be able to make instruction drawings for both cutting and sewing for our production.


  • The habit and knowledge of being able to take an idea and realize it into a finished prototype in sewing



If you only have experience within the fashion industry or pattern constructing for the clothing industry please refrain from applying as it is a requirement that you have experience with furniture.


The job consists of, among other things, of the following:


  • Interpreting a design sketched by our designer and turning it into a finished product. You are responsible for drawing up the solution, creating a prototype on your own and then once approved training our production team to make it.


  • Once the prototype is approved, the product is launched. You will plan your own time and be responsible for your own area, cushions and accessories that are sewn. For prototypes you will be responsible to order new materials.


  • At periods of high pressure you should be able to jump in the tailoring department and help your colleagues in production. This is not however your main task/responsibilty.


Working hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, fixed monthly salary.

Language requirements: Swedish or English is a requirement
