About the Sustainability team

We are a team of six, based across various global locations of Nilörn. The team is headed by the Sustainability Manager situated in the Swedish Headquarters. We closely collaborate with all parts of the organisation to ensure we achieve Nilörn’s ambition to lead in sustainability, to be “More Fit for the Future”.

About the role

We are looking for a ESG Compliance Coordinator to strengthen our sustainability team. Your role will be instrumental in facilitating our data collection, analysis, reporting and communication. This is a newly established role, therefore you will have to enjoy taking a lot of initiative.

The position reports to the Sustainability Manager. Location: Nilörn Headquarters Borås, Sweden.

Responsibilities:

  1. Data Management: Coordinate CSRD/ESRS required data and systems. Perform data analysis. Support prioritised issues identified during the materiality assessment process.
  2. ESG Reporting: Support ongoing ESG efforts by working collaboratively across the organisation to collect, manage and report out on key performance indicators relevant to corporate sustainability targets. Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and established policies and procedures.
  3. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and prioritise sustainability risks across the organisation, the supply chain and stakeholders. Collaborate with various cross-functional teams for the overall risk management process for the organisation.
  4. Certifications: Lead existing certification activities, manage the necessary contacts to assure updated and valid certifications for standards as bluesign, OEKO-TEX®, FSC™, GRS and similar.
  5. Traceability: Support CSR team with traceability systems.
  6. Create Awareness: Train and empower the company’s staff and other stakeholder through relevant training, processes and tools.


Qualifications

  • To enjoy and succeed in this role, we expect candidates to have 1-3 years of professional experience from the textile/fashion industry, following their completion of Master's Degree in environmental science.
  • Experience of Sustainability Reporting and the upcoming CSRD, Life Cycle Analysis and ESG strategy.
  • Proficiency with collection, maintaining and analysing of data.
  • Strong attention to detail, curiosity and future thinking.
  • Good people skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and interest in Power BI and platforms such as Worldfavor, Position Green and Retraced.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
