Division: LC&FI (Large Corporate & Financial Institutions) Business area: Regulatory Specialist/Customer Due Diligence

This means that we aim to have a risk-based approach to regulations, with stronger focus and controls in areas with greater risk.As a Regulatory Specialist you will have a key role in securing adherence to regulations by performing Client Due Diligence tasks. We are looking for a team player that should have good analytical skills as well as the capability to support/establish processes, since new regulations/regulatory updates will continue to have an impact on the financial industry and its participants. The role will require work in international teams and with global clients.Your responsibilities
  • Responsibility to carry out MIFID client onboarding tasks with high quality.
  • Full understanding and analysis the client's structure and background in regard to its business with SEB
  • Communication directly with client and client teams
  • Responsibility for analysing, participation and presenting regulatory compliance matters in relevant committees
  • Escalation of exceptional cases or concerns
  • Supporting colleagues and acting as an advisor regarding regulatory related questions, towards the client teams and other stakeholders
  • Working according to set processes and continuously updating work instructions
Your profile
  • Fluency in English - both verbal and written (C1/C2)
  • University degree in finance, operations or equivalent experience from Banking/Finance or IT
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in working with regulatory sphere, especially MIFID.
  • Experience with MiFID II and knowledge of EMIR/SFTR.
  • Practical knowledge/work experience in the EU regulations
  • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks
  • Positive mind-set
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent analytical ability
  • Client focused mind-set
  • Passion about providing high class service internally as well as externally
  • Experience in banking is a plus
