SEB Luxembourg branch serves as the hub for Private Banking services to Nordic nationals living abroad. It is also the base for many of SEB's funds and offers global custody and related depositary services to financial institutions. The Luxembourg branch comprise 170 employees with over 25 nationalities.

About the job

The Internal Audit department is an independent group-wide function comprising of approx. 75 auditors with global presence within the network. The main purpose of our work is to evaluate and give assurance to the Board and the President of SEB AB that governance, risk management and internal control processes are adequate, effective and support the business objectives. Internal Audit reports directly to the Audit and Compliance Committee of the Board. You will conduct the audit work and be part of and supported by Group Internal Audit. You will be responsible for delivering on the local annual audit plan and work with the business divisions and support areas and other key stakeholders in the Bank. You will report to the Head of Internal Audit Corporate & Private Customers in Stockholm but also to other divisional audit heads, local management bodies and regulators.

Who are you?

The right candidate has a strong understanding of business risk and analytical skills to evaluate areas of risk. A minimum of 5 years of experience from internal or external auditing is required. You demonstrate high integrity and a good knowledge of Banking law and order. Experience working with Private Banking and Investment Management Services would be considered as strong advantage.You have the ability to work alone in a self-disciplined way and also in team assignments. You have a strong commercial understanding balanced with firm knowledge of processes and controls and you can see the big picture but still keep an eye on the details. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an independent and open mind-set to work as an integral part of a global audit department. You hold a relevant University degree and preferably an audit certificate. You are fluent in English as a working language and preferably also a basic understanding of the French language.
