We are now looking for a Demand Planner for the Swedish market to join our dedicated team! In this role, you will be able to have a direct impact on the business as the critical link between sales, marketing, logistics and finance.Role
The main purpose is to deliver an accurate demand forecast across all three categories (confectionery, petcare, food) using tools and insights available to drive the delivery of the business unit plan.
You will be responsible for Sweden, a vital market for our business unit.
This Demand Planner role is not the typical “behind the desk” role. Here, you will be able to use your voice and make an impact on the business as you will attend regular sales meetings and setting the supply chain agenda, as well as dealing directly with the customers when needed.
You will report to the Demand Planning Manager and be part of a team including eight dedicated and competent collagues.Essential duties and responsibilities
- Co-piloting with Sales, Marketing and Finance to deliver an accurate and aligned demand plan for specific segments and or/customers for short, medium and long-term perspective
- Proactively drive the relationship with customers to align on forecasting and phasing of key events and activities
- Lead the pre-DMR (Demand Management Review) forecast alignment process with sales and marketing
- Facilitate periodical DMR meeting as part of S&OP+ cycle
- Liaise with the Product Supply Coordinators to ensure product supply risks are mitigated and optimal stock levels are maintained
- Handling short-term forecast changes
- Continuous analysis on forecast and result
This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years’ experience from a Demand Planner role who now feels motivated to move into a role with a clear business focus. You can expect to be challenged and develop personally on a daily basis when managing our biggest market in the Nordics across three different categories.Qualifications
- A few years of experience from a Demand Planner role
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Economics or equivalent
- Previous experience from JDA/Apollo, SAP or other Supply Chain planning tools
- Fluent in English and one of the Nordic languages
- High analytical skills
- Advanced skills in MS Excel
- Previous experience from FMCG, retail, pharma or other related fields is a big plus!

Building successful relationships will be key in this role. You are confident with the skills to question and challenge when necessary. Furthermore, you are naturally analytical with a sharp business acumen.
