Om arbetsgivaren

Take your next career step at ABB with a global team that is energizing the transformation of society and industry to achieve a more productive, sustainable future.

At ABB, we have the clear goal of driving diversity and inclusion across all dimensions: gender, LGBTQ+, abilities, ethnicity and generations. Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.

You will work with development of the software platform for the Stressometer, which is ABB's market leading system for flatness measurement within the metals industry. The platform is especially designed to meet the very varying requirements from our customers, which places large requirements on high flexibility and a continuous need for new adaptions and improvements.

The major part of the current development is related to remote services where we are exploring machine learning for diagnostics and supervision through cloud connection and other methods. There is also a constant on-going improvement and enhancement of the advanced MIMO control of the system.
We are looking for you who are experienced in the field or newly graduated with a strong drive to develop within the field. This is the opportunity for you to take an important role to develop the next generation of our products.
The role is located in Västerås and you will be reporting to the R&D Manager for Controller Development.
