Öhlins is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)
We are looking for someone to help us maintaining and improving the quality level from our suppliers. As an employee at Öhlins you are part of an organization with extensive experience from motorsport, mechanical engineering, electronics engineering and software development.
This role is part of the Supplier Development team within Purchasing Department, which manages the development of our supply chain, supports project launches and manages critical delivery and supplier quality issues.
As an SQE, you have a strong knowledge in deviation handling and preferably measuring technology and you are a team player with great problem-solving skills. We believe you have an eye for detail and good communication skills, as a big part of the job is to support suppliers with 8D methodology.

The candidate for this position either holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master or Bachelor) or has at least 3 years of experience within quality assurance or similar.

- Driver of Supplier 8D Reports
- Review of documentation according to Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
- Following up and closing 8D reports from suppliers
- Coaching suppliers in root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Participate in Supplier Improvement programs.
- Be the link between Purchasing and Production site for supplier claims.
- Participating in cross functional problem solving
