In this new role as Regional Health and Safety Specialist you will act as a support for our regional experts on our eight production sites in the Nordics. You will make sure that we stay compliant to all Nouryon and External regulatory requirements and act as an influencer towards all levels within the organization. You will drive operational discipline and establish and maintain a solid best practice platform within the health & safety area.
You can either be located in Bohus, Stenungsund or Sundsvall, Sweden.Main responsibilities
- Build line management understanding of Health & Safety Systems, regulatory changes and support the reduction of safety incidents
- Develop H&S expertise in the region. Leverage H&S expertise to support all sites in the region
- Support directly H&S improvement activities at the sites within the region. Guide line management to deliver HSE policy, set the culture and manage hazards
- Act as a role model for compliance and commitment
- Contribute to the HSE&S Nouryon Strategy
- Serve as an internal auditor and incident investigator for the region and globally when applicable
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in HSE or chemistry/chemical engineering
- >10 years' experience with at least 5 years of experience in Health & Safety in a chemical manufacturing environment
- Excellent English language skills, oral and in writing. Proficiency in Swedish is desirable.
- Ability to travel 30%, domestic and international.
