Workaround was founded in 2015 and is a leading marketplace for flexible office space. We help companies embrace the transformation towards flexible office space by providing a best in class marketplace experience. To put it simple, we match companies looking for flexible office solutions with our office space partners, primarily co-working operators. Workaround is active in Sweden, Norway, The Netherlands and Germany so far, with our head office located in Stockholm. The team consists of ~15 engaged employees but we are on a great growth journey as we expand to new markets across Europe.


Workaround is in an intensive growth phase and is now looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist / Growth Hacker who will play a central role in the company's expansion. This role reports directly to the CEO and offers the opportunity to be part of the executive team. We are looking for a creative and analytically driven individual who is passionate about driving growth through innovative digital marketing. @ Workaround we believe that speed is more important than perfection hence we love to test new stuff and see where it takes us.

As a Performance Marketing Specialist / Growth Hacker, you will be responsible for leading and implementing strategies that drive growth and visibility throughout the digital customer journey. You need to have a high interest and knowledge in SEO activities as it will be a crucial part of our success going forward. We have a strong organic growth that we want to accelerate even more.

You will collaborate with our SEM agency and internal team to develop and execute projects that help us increase leads, conversions and website traffic. Your responsibilities will among others include:


  • Follow Google algorithm updates to ensure our site is compliant with updates and policy changes
  • Internal linking strategy
  • Backlink acquisition strategy (organic / paid)
  • Specification of on-site product changes for SEO purposes
  • Keyword / Market research and strategy across markets

  • Managing a significant SEM budget across our different markets together with our CEO and SEM agency
  • Developing and implementing performance marketing projects in collaboration with our SEM agency
  • Monitoring and adjusting campaigns based on performance and analysis (copy adjustment, targeting adjustments, keyword targeting, negative keywords, spend allocation etc)
  • Looker Studio: Internal & External SEM reporting

Tracking Analytics BI

  • Tracking, analyzing, and optimizing results from both campaigns and website updates.
  • Google Analytics: Set-up of properties/custom reports/conversion tracking, acquisition reports and event tracking in close collaboration with the tech team.
  • Overseeing our data warehouse together with the tech team.
  • Creating and presenting reports in for example Google Analytics, Data Studio and Tableau.

Product & Content

  • Utilizing AI for ad scraping and content production together with the tech team.
  • Test AI products for outbound marketing activities together with the sales team.
  • Optimizing website landing pages for increased conversion and developing new landing pages when needed.


  • Several years of experience in a similar role within digital marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex data in an educational manner.
  • Deep knowledge of performance marketing, SEO, and SEM/SMM
  • Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Tableau
  • Precise and detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and a plus in Swedish
