Job description:

Are you a senior leader looking for your next step? Looking for a company that drives profits through its values? We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Leader to drive profitable sales growth by continuing to increase market share across the Nordics region.

We have a growing, well-established operation across the Nordics with a dynamic team positioned across Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark. You’ll be tasked with managing this team through effective mentoring, expert leadership, and sustainable talent pipelining.
This is a diverse role best fitted to someone who has both a strong commercial background and hand-on experience of general business responsibilities such as Operations, HR, EHS, IS and Administation.

We are open on background for this role, but as it’s a key position within the business, you’ll likely need experience managing full P&L and have a strong understanding of the cultural variations across the Nordics.

This role will focus on:



•A key focus on driving profitable sales growth and identifying strategic new business opportunities across the Nordics
•Ensuring the business is run on sound financial and ethical principles in accordance with Group Policies, local laws and legislations.
•Prepare Financial (P&L) Plans and Forecasts
•The GM will be empowered to run all aspects of their business efficiently and effectively including Sales, Operations, HR, EHS, IS, Administration.
•Prepare and deliver an annual Sales Plan for each of the Nordic Sales Offices by market sector, product line and sales area
•Leading, coaching, and advising of direct reports and the wider team, creating a followership
•Personally develop relationships with Key Sales Accounts
•Ensure all Customer needs are understood and met, growth opportunities are identified and WMFTG Customer Value Proposition are appropriately presented.
•Prepare monthly and quarterly reports in a format required by the Regional Sales Manager - Northern Europe.


Required profile:

To be successful in this role, you will need:



•We’re a global company with the associated demands so this role is best placed for someone who has led a Sales Operating Company as part of a Global Organisation.
•Our GMs need to be hands on, so experience working with the operational side of a business is a must - Sales, Operations, HR, EHS, IS, Administration.
•This role is dealing with full P&L, so experience managing >£5m P&L would be preferred.
•We’re a UK Headquartered company with global colleagues so a professional level of English is required for this role.
•Prepare monthly and quarterly reports in a format required by the Regional Sales Manager - Northern Europe.
