Our client is now looking for a dedicated project manager to lead international projects within energy, water, and environment, with a focus on sustainable urban development.
The team you will be joining at Sweco
The team you will be part of at Sweco focuses on promoting, managing, and executing international development and innovation projects related to green transition and sustainable urban development. They handle a wide range of technical projects in Ukraine, including energy efficiency, district heating, hydropower and dam safety, water supply and wastewater treatment, as well as waste management and the transition to a circular economy.
The team is part of Sweco´s international project division and is based in Swecos headquarter office in Stockholm.
Your role as Project Manager
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in developing and managing projects in an international context, with Ukraine as the primary focus area. You will build networks and collaborations while leading projects from inception to completion.

Practical Details

You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant for Sweco. The intention is for you to eventually be directly employed by Sweco, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration. - Building and maintaining networks with potential clients, partners, and financiers in Ukraine
- Leading ongoing and new projects in Ukraine
- Developing new business opportunities and projects within sustainable urban development
Are you the one we are looking for?
We are looking for someone who has:
- A relevant academic engineering degree
- Work experience in the field of energy, water, or environmental sectors, preferably related to sustainable urban development
- Proficiency in Ukrainian as well as English or Swedish, both written and spoken
- A Swedish work permit
