District Sales Manager to Helly Hansen (placed in Helsinki)

Helly Hansen are looking for their next District Manager in Southern Finland [Nyland region and Helsinki region]. As a district manager, you will be part of the Finnish sales organization, currently consisting of three individuals. Your responsibilities will involve driving sales in the categories of workwear and safety shoes, featuring one of the industry´s strongest brands. Your role will be to strengthen and develop our position in these categories in southern Finland. You should anticipate some travel activities within your district (approximately 40+ overnight stays per year), as well as international travel for HH WW sales meetings twice a year and various PR-customer activities/exhibitions.

Your tasks will include developing sales with existing retailers and creating new business within the district by:
  • Developing and driving sales of HH Workwear in the region.
  • Visiting the region´s customers according to set goals.
  • Ensuring assortment at our retailers, presenting, and selling campaigns and new products to the stores.
  • Driving and developing end customers together with our retailers.
  • Educating the region´s retailers on HH Workwear.
  • Participating in customer events and exhibitions.
  • Taking responsibility for and analyzing sales results.
  • Analyzing competitors, their assortment, organization, and market activities in the region.
  • Planning and executing local marketing activities
The district: The Southern Finland district includes the Helsinki Metropolitan Area and parts of the Nyland region. We consider it an advantage if you live centrally within the district, preferably in Helsinki and its surroundings.

Desired experience and knowledge/experience:
  • A minimum of three years of sales experience, preferably in a similar business area.
  • Experience working in a structured and results-oriented manner.
  • Strong social skills and a documented ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • High activity level in the field and a willingness to travel for work.
  • Fluent in English (spoken/written) as English is the company language. It´s considered an advantage if you also speak/write Swedish.
  • PC proficiency. Good knowledge of Excel (especially) and other Office programs.
  • A valid driver´s license (B category).
