Xylem is now looking to strengthen their team with a marketing communication project manager for their Water Infrastructure organization, working on a global scope from their Stockholm office.
The role as Communications Project Manager
As Communications Project Manager you are responsible for developing content as well as promotional and sales enablement assets for product launches, customer-facing events and critical business activities.
The scope of work is global and focused on technologies related to water treatment, wastewater pumping and dewatering. The successful candidate will work in tight collaboration with product management and engineering to understand the differential value of our solutions and contribute to creating strong value propositions.
Furthermore, they will ensure collaboration with other key regional and country-based marketing functions to promote commercialization excellence.

The role as Communications Project Manager
As Communications Project Manager you are responsible for developing content as well as promotional and sales enablement assets for product launches, customer-facing events and critical business activities.

The Communications Project Manager is responsible for strategic and operational communication activities as described below:
- Develops and implements the communication plan for product launches and specific sales goals, together with product management and key regional stakeholders.
- Leads and coaches the creative process of global marketing communication assets ensuring consistency with the value proposition, customer focus and alignment with our branding guidelines.
- Gives advice and produces marketing communication assets for projects involving product updates and upgrades, as well as for key customer-facing events and critical business activities.
- Plans and implements content development projects to strengthen our business' brands highlighting our engineering expertise and technical innovation as well as our impact in society and sustainability.
- Works proactively and reactively with PR for Water Infrastructure projects as well as supporting Corporate Communication PR activities and campaigns.
- Supports regional and country level marketing teams, providing them with relevant content and graphical resources related to our products and technologies.
- Advises product management and engineering on the use of internal communications channels like our digital asset management system (DAM), Workplace, and intranet, for better distribution of information inside the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in communications or marketing studies
- 3-6 years of marketing communications experience with both strategic and operative responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience working with value propositions and translating complex information into customer-focused messages
- Demonstrated experience working with subject matter experts, understanding the business and commercial goals of their shared projects, and advising them on marketing communications and branding
- Demonstrated experience working within international or global organizations; experience working in engineering and/or industrial companies is a plus
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing appropriately and maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written, is a must
- Swedish or German languages
- Good understanding of digital marketing
