Junior embedded-developer to R&D
THE POSITION:
We are looking for a Junior embedded- developer to the L&W Process Measurements R&D Department. In this role you will work with a team developing in Linux and BSD using C++ to make sure the sensors of the machines work properly.
You will make sure existing parts work as they should and developing new applications for new functions in the machine. This is not an embedded role down to the firmware but rather on a higher level. You will work in a broader sense with developing close to hardware but also with applications and even going over to GUI-development.
In this role you will have the opportunity to test different areas and work on differens levels. You will have the freedom to work out and test new ideas and collaborate cross functional to make the best solutions needed.
The ideal candidate:
You have a Msc in Computer Science, applied physic, embedded development or similar.
You can also have a couple of years working experience with embedded-development/ electronics design with an interest to learn and work on programming assignments.

Our client is a world-leading manufacturer of equipment for quality control and process optimization in the pulp and paper industry. Their head office, including R&D and manufacturing, is located in Kista, Stockholm. Their unit consists of about 80 people, where Sales, Product Management, Manufacturing, Maintenance and R&D all sit under one roof. In this role you will be part of our Process Measurements R&D team, where you will get the opportunity to be an active part of our product development life cycle, from idea to launch.
About the employment:
This is a consulting assignment which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition is that the assignment will result in a permanent position at the client company after a duration of 6 months.
