Firefly develops, manufactures and sells high-tech systems that detect and minimize the risk of fires and dust explosions. Development and manufacturing takes place at the head office in Stockholm. Each customer is offered unique solutions based on a range of qualified, patented components and functions. The company has good industry diversification and customers worldwide. An increased safety focus on the market has contributed to the company having an annual growth increase of approx 15%.

As an Electronics Designer, you are involved in everything from the creation and development of unique hardware solutions to the finished product. You will be part of their hardware team within R&D, which today consists of 13 people located at the head office in Hammarby Sjöstad, 10 minutes´ walking distance from Globen.

Dina arbetsuppgifter

As an Electronics Designer, you will, among other things, work with:

• Further develop existing and new generations of sensors and detectors
• Support purchasing and the production department
• Be a company expert in electronics
• Analyze and conduct deeper technical fault analyses

Våra förväntningar

We are looking for you who have a civil or university degree in engineering or have equivalent work experience as an Electronics Designer. Perhaps you have studied Electronics, Mechatronics or Medical Technology education? We would like you to have worked all the way from design, testing to full-scale production. Most likely you have worked with analog and digital hardware.

As you collaborate closely with colleagues throughout the business, it is an advantage if you are communicative and have a non-prestige way of working. Your driving force is likely to be solving problems and you have good initiative and make things happen. You are motivated by your own responsibility and have a high quality mindset
