

Account Manager
Coop Norway, Coop HotellKupp and Coop Sweden, Hotell Premien are the largest provider of loyalty hotel breaks in Norway and Sweden. The company has multiple lines of businesses, however with over 2 million room nights booked every year, hotel leisure breaks currently represent the largest share of our business. In both regions we have clear ownership of all marketing, tech, product and supply related to hospitality. Our mission is to retain customer loyalty for our partners in delivering the best customer experience and most varied product hospitality offerings to our clients' members.
One of the key priorities is to grow our market share for hotel product in the Scandic region. We are seeking an Account Manager to manage & support our current hotel supply and to also grow our hotel market share in the Scandic region. Reporting to the Managing Director, the
Account Manager will work directly and indirectly with a growing team of 30+ individuals across Product, Tech, Marketing, Finance and Operations.
As the Account Manager, you will define the product strategy and roadmap, evaluating local market characteristics, trends, and drivers, and effectively prioritize and manage the performance of a portfolio of hotel accounts.

As the Account Manager, you will define the product strategy and roadmap, evaluating local market characteristics, trends, and drivers, and effectively prioritize and manage the performance of a portfolio of hotel accounts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the long-term product vision for hotel product in the Scandic region.
- Inform and consult accommodation partners regarding their business performance, market opportunities and industry trends.
- Encourage hotel partners on how to use the back-end hotel system, tools and available products with the goal of enhancing the hotel performance on the platform and creating a wonderful experience for Coop customers.
- Regular benchmarking and monitoring of market-competitiveness of our hotel programs.
- Keep updated on current hospitality trends and constantly assess and propose new ideas to improve customer conversion and retention.
- Work closely with key personal to understand customer needs with data, identify gaps in our offerings and develop product requirements.
- Define key metrics, track them, and improve upon them.
- Achieve buy-in of the success plan and key milestones from the wider management team and effectively communicate progress and developments.
- Together with the marketing team, create and execute the media plan and growth strategy for our markets in Scandinavia.
- You have 3+ years of product sales/account management experience or other relevant experience, preferably in a high traffic e-commerce environment.
- Experienced in building and articulating a clear and compelling product vision.
- Demonstrated ability to solve hospitality and team problems, coupled with super strong analytical skills and commercial and business sense.
- The ability to move partner conversations forward and lead conversations to a successful outcome
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders (finance, marketing, tech).
- Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.
- Knowledge of relevant industry trends shaping the online travel market, specifically in
Norway. - Fluent Swedish speaker and writer and excellent written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills are essential.
