Cabonline provides brand identity, infrastructure, service and booking solutions for transporters and customers. More than 4 500 cars are currently connected to Cabonline and supporting the 3 main customer segments B2P (public transportation), B2B (business segment) and B2C (consumer segment).

They’re one of Europe's leading technology and service provider for the taxi and transport industry with vehicles under different brands including TaxiKurir, Sverigetaxi, TOPCAB and other well-known brands. Cabonline Group has a turnover of approximately 4 billion SEK and on average and they carry out around 45,000 trips per day, or about 16 million trips a year.

As a Senior Backend Developer at Cabonline, you and your team, consisting of 13 members, own the runtime environment and development pipeline of Cabonline’s CORE platform, consisting of booking channels through the web, app, and public APIs. Your daily work includes development tasks, whereas you participate in development projects with team members, product owners, and business stakeholders. You are involved in planning and grooming sessions with your team. In addition, you’ll work with architecture and strategy, where you, alongside the development team, set the strategy and vision for Cabonline’s software platform. Your daily tasks also include maintaining and updating Cabonline’s current automated tests.

Projects in the current pipelines are integration between back-office systems, GDPR and master data, continuance within digitalization, and web integration. Most developers use Mac and IntelliJ. Cabonline uses Java 16 and Spring Boot as the framework for microservices and deploys Docker containers to our hosting in AWS. You will continuously improve their development process along with an experienced team burning for innovation and using cutting-edge technology.

* Minimum 5 years with Java development
* Experience in working with Spring and Microservices
* Good knowledge in spoken and written English
Meritorious
* Experience with deploying a microservice architecture using Docker, Nomad and Consul
* Interest in event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka
* Familiarity with Elasticsearch
* Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL and AWS
