About the position and the team

As Senior Paid Social Specialist at GroupM you´ll manage a dedicated team and work with paid advertising in social media for some of Sweden and the World´s most ambitious brands. Together with leading technology and in close cooperation with the platforms you´ll be continuously testing and trying out new creative formats and solutions.

You´ll be part of a team consisting of twenty specialists that all report to the Head of Operations Paid Social. You´ll be working closely with an Agency Lead that will be your coach and make sure to challenge you and have you grow and evolve in your everyday work life.


Your main task will be managing customer relationships and leading the projects for your clients, making sure that your team keeps the highest possible level throughout delivery. You will be delegating tasks and priorities within your team of junior specialists, always collaborating and striving to reach the set KPI:s.
  • Managing digital campaigns and optimization on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Twitter och TikTok
  • Strategy and recommendations for paid ads on social media, the choice of platform, budget, KPIs, target groups, format, frequency, testing and inputs on creative content
  • Analysis, evaluation and reporting based on defined targets and KPIs
  • Presentation of results in client and agency meetings
  • Coaching and distributing operative tasks within your team in a way that promotes learning

Who do we think you are?

You´ve got a few years´ experience of paid media, either working at an agency or individual company. You have been working hands-on with paid advertising and are great at analytical thinking. You are curious and get motivated by improving and to keep exceeding your previous results - which is why you now feel ready to take the next step in your career. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and coaching others. You have a creative mindset, and think outside the box so that you can create the smartest strategies within paid social.

You are socially skilled and find it exciting to engage clients and to build trust in your relationships with them. To succeed with the responsibilities within this position we also see that you are independant, meticulous and organized.

  • University degree or other relevant education within digital marketing
  • 2-3 years experience of paid advertising, either on a firm or individual company
  • Basic knowledge in Facebook Business Manager
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Great knowledge in English both orally and written. Preferably also Swedish.

Form of employment

This is a permanent employment and full time position (37,5h/w), with six months probation time.

Main office at Birger Jarlsgatan in Stockholm or at Södra Hamngatan in Gothenburg. Hybrid work model is applied.
