We are now looking for a Global Material Manager (GMM) to secure both short and long-term material availability in the inbound supply chains; between external suppliers, Ericsson Supply Sites and Contract Manufacturing Sites (EMS). You will also ensure stakeholder fulfilment with R&D, Production Management, Sourcing and Product Management by representing Supply in cross functional category management governance and supplier selection fora's.
As GMM you will lead the inbound supply work in one or several categories together with the Supplier Operations Managers. You will together develop and optimize use of time and capital resources, ensuring correct dimensioning and maintenance of inventories throughout the supply chain.
You will secure supply capability by establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers on executive levels and by ensuring preventive and mitigating activities, designing robust supply chains etc, with key peers such as Product Development Units and Sourcing.Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements
- You will execute global capacity management
- Build and maintain Dimension and set-up supply chain
- Ensure secure completive supply in category management and in new development projects
- You will be instrumental to set up and implement agreements, logistics etc.
- Establish and maintain relationships and governance on Executive level with suppliers
Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- MSc degree in Science or equivalent
- 10 years of related experience from Strategic Sourcing or Commercial/Sales within Semiconductor/ electronics area.
- RAN/Radio domain experience
- Financial acumen and good understanding of business environment
- Ability to build and maintain long term relationships with suppliers on executive levels
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Experience from digitalization would be a plus.
