Senior Program Manager to Group CIO Project Management, Arenastaden

About the job
In this role, your main mission is to analyze the change, propose how to address it, set up the structure and manage the execution. You will drive complex issues with senior management.

You will also lead deliveries from initiation to customer launch. To succeed you will hold the overall view of all the moving parts and drive its deliveries by breaking down the scope into smaller value deliveries, securing the right prioritization, removing obstacles etc. Another essential part of the job is to lead and interact with colleagues at SEB, vendors and partners. SEB implements a scaled agile framework which means that your project will be based on getting deliveries synchronized from several cross functional Teams and Release Trains around the bank.

In your assignment, you will collaborate & report to the project's sponsor, often a Group Executive Committee member, and the steering committee. Since we drive projects across SEB you will get the opportunity to see and learn about many different businesses around the bank.

You will be a part of a great team of 19 Project Managers. Most of your colleagues are very experienced Project Managers but there are also a few more junior colleagues. You will gain and contribute to sharing experience and knowledge within the team to continuously improve our way of delivering on SEB's vision.

As a part of the Project Management team within SEB Group CIO you will belong to an organization in the forefront of new technology and innovation in areas of machine learning, AI, Cloud etc.

This is a full-time employment positioned in Arenastaden, Stockholm.

Who are you?
You have at least 15 years of project & program management experience. Also, you have succeeded in delivering complex projects within IT & business such as core system replacements, integrations of acquired companies and major regulatory implementations e.g. MiFID II and GDPR.

As a person, we see that you are a self-motivated "do-er" with a can-do-attitude. You feel comfortable with communicating and address issues with senior management. You have a good problem-solving ability and are good at finding solutions and inspire your surroundings to do the same, always with focus on finding the solution that is best for our customers and SEB.

Your communication skills are excellent, in both Swedish and English. Other important characteristics for the position is be able to apply a humble & prestigeless mindset and sometimes take a bit more formal & professional approach. You have good cooperation skills where you coordinate the project´s progress and deadlines.

To do the job you need to have an agile mindset and experience of these ways of working. We believe that you have solid experience from delivery and change management within the fields of finance, IT and business development.
