About the job
You will be a part of a group called Control Center, which has the main objective of providing service for SEB stakeholders and platforms. We are a first line support function, with a continuous monitoring and operation services where we support applications and all IT platforms 7/24/365, but also provide Service Desk support on weekday evenings.

You will be responsible to handle all tasks within Control Center services. We act on alarms and instructions provided by alarm owners, but also provides other service such as putting packages into production, restore orders and access to SEB´s different computer rooms. The main purpose with our work is to free up time, increase quality, availability and efficiency and reduce on-calls for the entire SEB organisation. You will work closely with your 18 colleagues of your team, but also with Global Incident Handlers and Monitoring Solutions.

Some of the task you will working with are:
  • Monitor both application and infrastructure events
  • Identify, isolate and resolve alarms
  • Register incidents and assign to applicable groups
  • Request fulfilment (workorders in SPM) such as batch orders, urgent access, production deploy, restore of files
  • Service Desk tasks, some acute errors and password problems.
Being part of the team, you contribute to continuous improvement both internally and in the cooperation with other teams. The position involves stakeholder and vendor contact, both in Swedish and English.

Who are you?
To be successful in this position you need to be service minded and are driven by delivering quality in your work. You have the ability to handle, prioritize and complete various tasks that are ongoing, also in situations with time pressure and conflicting demands. You are fluent in both English and Swedish.

We want you to have good technical knowledge of one, but preferable several, of following IT platforms: Windows, Unix/Linux, Mainframe, IBM iSeries, Network, Storage. We also would like you to have a couple of years of experience from having customer contact, where you have developed good communication skills in both Swedish and English. Experience of the financial industry is advantageous but not a requirement.

Please note that you will be working in shift and need to be comfortable with this setup. We have a rolling six weeks schedule where you will work day time, but also during evening and night shifts. For this we have good compensations, both financially and for time off.
