About the role
As the Warehouse Manager you will report directly in to the Supply Chain Director and be responsible for all the warehousing activities within SEVAN. You will work closely together with your colleagues within Supply Chain to secure an efficient handling of products, and also be responsible for building sustainable processes on both strategic and operational level within the warehouse. You will manage a team of approx. 10 FTE.

Main Responsibilities
  • Direct manager of 10-12 blue collars
  • Facility management of the warehouse, including heat, cold, freezer
  • Drive quality at warehouse according to HACCP
  • Responsible for inbound control and release of pick orders
  • Be responsible of and manage the inflow of goods, the daily pick orders and the operations of the co-pack line as well as the efficiency of the flow of goods in the warehouse
  • Responsible to plan and run through frequent inventory checks
  • Together with Logistics Manager, establish and secure efficient communication and flow of goods in the warehouse, ensuring correct order picking and on-time deliverables.
  • Continuous maintenance and services on machine park.
  • Purchasing of some packaging material
  • Responsible for the larm and the safety of the warehouse
  • To focus on strengthening the and optimizing the processes in the warehouse and its environment
  • Implementation of 5 S
  • Implementation of clear KPI and to break them down on daily / weekly / monthly targets
  • Support implementation of a new VMS system
  • Be able to manage and plan a move of warehouse in 2019
  • To set a good team spirit and strengthen to contribute to a motivational work atmosphere

  • Experience from a similar role, with direct management of employees
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management
  • Strong knowledge and experience of VMS systems
  • Experience from implementing 5S / lean methods
  • An engaged leader that is used to drive change
  • Strong ability to motivated and coach team members
  • Speak and write Swedish and English, other language is a plus
