As a member of the Data Foundations team, you will join our journey as we discover how to build state-of-the-art data-driven products for Schibsted with emphasis on volume, velocity, privacy, developer and user experience. We enable teams and local sites across the Schibsted organization to develop data-driven products and services through cross-team initiatives and collaboration.
Our services are powering many use-cases in Schibsted such as producing insights about our customers, segments for the online advertising on our sites, and personalization of news.

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Full Stack Engineer to join the Data Foundations team, distributed between Oslo and Stockholm.
You are interested in building user-friendly and engaging products for our internal (software engineers, data engineers, data scientists and data analysts) and external customers. Furthermore, you have extended experience in engineering and implementing reliable, distributed and highly scalable systems.
You have a proven track record of gathering and interpreting requirements, solving challenging technical problems and learning new technologies and code practices. Your responsibilities are to develop and maintain user-facing features, build reusable code and modern libraries, optimize code for maximum performance and ensure high product quality.
You are naturally interested in making a broad impact in our organization, by keeping cross-team dependencies and relationships in mind while engineering solutions. We believe that you have the "can-do-attitude", meaning curious, confident and willing to deal with problems, to investigate unclarities and to learn new technologies, including parts of our ecosystem.
Familiarity with DevOps, concurrent/multithreaded programming, or distributed systems are all advantageous.
