Your passion and curiosity enable the teams you work with to collect important feedback from our audiences. The insights that you generate will drive the development of established media houses like VG and Aftonbladet, as well as many other digital products and services in Scandinavian media.What you will do:
You will join a team of eight researchers based in Oslo and Stockholm. Everyone in the team has a different background, spanning from psychology to service design. Our nationalities are Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch and Spanish. We cherish and celebrate this diversity in our team and aim to recruit for this as well. It is our mission to empower all the product teams in Schibsted Media to do their own tactical research and truly embed this in their product development processes. This includes working with publishers like Aftonbladet, Bergens Tidende, Aftenposten, VG and Svenska Dagbladet. But also Vektklubb and Godt.no.
You will work closely with other researchers and multiple product teams (consisting of designers, product managers, and developers) to identify and prioritize user research opportunities. The aim is to work on strategic projects with the potential to have an impact on multiple products across Schibsted media. You are able to choose the best method or combination of methods based on the research questions you discover, working with limited timelines and available resources. Conduct timely but thorough data analyses that will produce insightful and actionable results. Impact product design and the development roadmap through your findings.Who are we looking for?
You hold a university degree (Bachelor or Master) in social sciences, cognitive science, design, human-computer interaction or in a comparable field. You have direct experience with conducting research on digital devices (mobile, tablet, desktop). Conducting research from end-to-end (from methodology design to reporting) is your passion. You understand the value of combining quantitative and qualitative insights. Former colleagues will describe you as a team player that enjoys giving feedback and help your team members to evolve.
This research position requires multiple years of work experience in a similar role. You would label yourself as an experienced user researcher. Norwegian or Swedish does not have to be your native language, but you do have to feel comfortable having conversations in Norwegian/Swedish as well as English. This position can be based in Oslo or Stockholm.What We Offer
