What you will be doingAs a senior accountant at SEB Kort, you will be an integral part of the Accounting Services team at SEB Kort responsible for the accounting, monthly closing and group and regulatory reporting of SEB Kort Bank AB entities in 4 Nordic countries. You will be engaged in a broad number of qualified accounting tasks and expected to take a lead on assigned areas of responsibilities. You will work closely with the other teams within SEB Kort Finance as well as SEB Group Finance.Essential responsibilities include:
- Drive monthly and quarterly closing and reporting activities- Perform Regulatory reporting to Swedish FSA (Finansinspektionen)- Perform internal reporting to the SEB Group- Cooperate closely with SEB Group Finance team- Ensure reporting compliance with external and internal reporting requirements- Provide support in technical accounting questions, interpretation of accounting standards- Seek to add continuous process improvement- Take active role in related projects and initiatives
Who we are looking for We expect that you have an academic degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience in an accounting, audit or similar finance role. You have a good awareness of current technical accounting and reporting requirements under IFRS and Swedish GAP. You have genuine interest in learning and working with bank's regulatory reporting framework. Previous experience in financial industry, bank's regulatory reporting or internal Group reporting is a major advantage and will help you to thrive in this position.
Expected qualifications include:* Strong accounting competences, good understanding of accounting principles and processes* Structured and analytical working approach * Ability to prioritize and make decisions under pressure* Driven to continuously improve the effectiveness of processes * Strong communication skills and work effectively with others* Excellent excel skills, knowledge of excel formulas/ functions commonly used in accounting* Have fluent Swedish and English communication skillsWhat we offer
