Working as a Business Analyst in Middle Office at SEB in Stockholm you will get a deep understanding of SEB's products and customer offerings and be able to contribute to the improvement of processes E2E (end-to-end). You will work in the interface between business, operations and IT to drive and support Customer offerings through development and continuous improvement. The department has embarked on a transformation that focuses on improving the entire customer experience.

Simultaneously with working in the role being recruited to, you will participate in SEB´s International Trainee Programme, which gives you the opportunity to develop an extensive network within the bank, gain a deep understanding of the international financial industry and be professionally and personally challenged.

Your Trainee Position and Your Team

In your role within Investment Operations, you will be part of Middle Office, a competent team in a dynamic environment with the aim to constantly find ways to improve the customer experience of the SEB offering to ensure world class service to our Asset Management customers. You will make improvements of the customer experience by analysing and developing processes and systems.

As Business Analyst you will have a varied role including collecting and analysing data and setting requirements in order to operationalise the daily work. You will work in cross-functional initiatives focused on different areas together with relevant stakeholders. You will prepare and facilitate workshops and create action plans. You will gain hands-on, as well as strategic knowledge covering a wide spectra of asset management industry. Your Required Skills

We are looking for you with passion for business and a changing environment. We like you to challenge us, now and for the future. We are looking for you who:
  • Have an academic degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or equivalent
  • Have graduated before programme start or within the last three years
  • It is meritorious if you have some work experience
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish
To succeed in this position, we believe you have an analytical mindset, an ability to translate theory into action and a passion for driving improvements. You are inclusive while comfortable taking the lead on multiple parallel initiatives. In this dynamic and agile environment, you will need a high degree of structure, drive, and good communication skills.
