Risk Manager, Risk Data Aggregation and Reporting

The Risk Manager will work with the overall control framework for risk reporting and to establish a quantitative set of data management controls across risk and finance. Supporting compliance and governance initiatives, the Risk Manager will actively work with report and control owners to implement, document and assess controls meant to improve the quality and stability of risk data aggregation and risk reporting. The analyst will gain exposure to all risk types, including market, credit, liquidity, operational, cyber, and data, and how they are reported to senior management.
What you will be doingThe Risk Manager shall: * Document, maintain and confirm the processes for risk data aggregation and reporting * Document and maintain the mapping of control sets to each of the risk aggregation and reporting processes, identifying any missing controls * Identify and integrate objective, quantitative controls on data quality within risk reporting processes * Extend the current self-assessment control framework to include objective data quality KPIs / KRIs, with on-going incremental additions over time * Implement data quality controls * Regularly compile reports on controls and present these to senior management * Work with control and process owners to identify & report gaps and manage remediation activities to completion * Support reviews by external & internal audit and second line non-financial risk management
Who we are looking for * Experience with processes in a financial institution, including at least 5 years in a major bank * Understanding of risk controls and their role in process management * Exposure to common data management / data quality techniques * Ability to articulate and differentiate between common risk types faced by financial institutions * Good grasp of accounting and reporting principles and basics * Fluent in English and Swedish * Degree in a quantitative subject * Detail oriented with proven ability to deliver independently * Excellent communication skills
