The Group Regulatory Affairs Office is a newly established Group function with the purpose to future-proof the bank by proactively engaging in regulatory changes in an efficient manner. The Group Regulatory Affairs Office takes a holistic perspective on new and changing regulations, independent from business or control activities and act as a hub for all function working with regulations in SEB. We are looking for a Head of Group Regulatory Affairs Office who is keen to deliver on this new and exciting mandate. What you will be doing
This role offers a great variety of opportunities. As Head of Group Regulatory Affairs Office, you will build and develop team securing regulatory change excellence. The key objectives will be to set direction, enhance regulatory efficiency and proactively provide guidance to meet regulatory requirements and expectations within SEB. You will be responsible for establishing and leading an experienced team with broad competencies within regulations, change management and business and IT solution. Together you will develop and implement the necessary frameworks that will be accessible on a Group-wide level, securing optimal ways of working and prioritisation of regulatory initiatives as well as providing support to key stakeholders in SEB. You and your team will stay fully abreast of all incoming regulatory developments across SEB to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the necessary actions to be taken. Core activities include the identification and analysis of regulatory developments and the assessment of their impact on SEB. This involves close collaboration with colleagues in the business and other functions, such as Legal, Compliance or Risk. You will report to Mats Torstendahl, the Deputy President & CEO and preferably be located in Stockholm. Who we are looking for
You have:- A deep interest and broad understanding of relevant financial regulations applicant for Financial Services Institutions.- - Demonstrated senior leadership and networking capabilities- A strong track record of managing regulatory initiatives and/or programmes- A broad network with the ability to build and maintain constructive working relationships within the regulatory field. Externally as well as internally- A curious and analytical mindset with great communication skills - Very good problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions and prioritize within a complex environment You will likely have a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience. Experience working with banking supervision and/or regulation implementation is a merit. Fluency in English is a prerequisite.
