We are therefore looking to recruit a Data Curator which will be reporting to Head of Data Management Office. About the job
In the position as Data Curator you will be a key enabler in securing sound management of data and the business opportunities it gives. It's done by adding semantic meaning to our data catalog and accelerating the creation of high-value datasets. In this role you will develop a deep understanding of how data is used by the business, and how IT applies technology to make the data available. Together with the rest of the Data Management Office, you will contribute in the structuralimprovements of data quality issues within the bank and collaborate closely with the colleagues in the Customer Insight Analytics team. At the same time, it is essential thatwe emphasize our efforts in using data for customer value generating purposes and growth going forward. Here is some of the responsibilities that you will face in the role:* Promote and facilitate reusability of data for consumers within C&PC* Create and maintain metadata, and by doing so, facilitating easability for data consumers to find and reuse data.* Conduct database analysis and monitoring of data flows. * Perform data quality controls in a defined Data Area, i.e. to initiate corrections, to follow up and report on data quality issues according to the process for structured error handling.* Responsible to keep track of where the data is stored and how it can be retrieved.* Close cooperating with Data Stewards in securing proper data flows.* Be the expert for how data is used both internally and externally (analysis, regulatory reporting, etc.)* Assist in data extractions and data analysis on an ad-hoc basis. Who you are?
To succeed in your role, you need extensive experience of working with data management. Hence you are expected to be familiar with development of essential data management capabilities such as data management strategy, data architecture, data control environment and data quality management, programming/ETL skills, to name a few. In addition, you have deep understanding for system architecture, databases and data flows that support business processes, you need practical experience of information management systems and understanding for data analytics. You have a M.Sc. of Business and Economics, Engineering or another relevant field. Furthermore, you have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swedish.
