A day in the life of a Supply Chain Finance Business Partner
As a Supply Chain Finance Business Partner, you will be a valuable part of the Supply Chain leadership team in the Nordics. You will be responsible for leading the quality and compliance processes in the unit according to the global requirements. Hence, ensuring that Royal Canin Nordics strives for the best practice level regarding the quality of processes, documentation and compliance.

You will ensure insightful analysis and strategic review from a financial perspective on both Logistics and other Supply Chain costs. That means, you will be assigned to provide Supply Chain Leaders with all data needed to have a full overview of the costs, risks and opportunities of the business, hereby ensuring a better strategic planning for Royal Canin.

Additionally, you will train Supply Chain associates in system knowledge and financial impact from Supply Chain actions (e.g. credit memos, purchase orders, receipts etc.), equalizing these skills throughout 4 countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway & Finland).

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark

Essential duties and responsibilities
You will also be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Support Supply Chain Director in the strategic analysis of data to find insights and business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain the financial review tool for Supply Chain KPIs and Logistic costs
  • Evaluate the quality management processes (QMP) in accordance with the best practices and coach the QMP champions of the different departments accordingly
  • Manage monthly accounting closing for the Supply Chain. Ensure that activities (e.g. expense and inventory) are properly captured within the Supply Chain
  • Ensure inventory adjustments are properly done and accruals accurately recorded in the financial systems
  • Act as a key user for Navision (ERP), SA4 (BI) and PowerBI (BI)
  • Share the system/finance-knowledge with the team to ensure efficiency and improvement of the processes for a better Ways of working
  • Monitor the Supply Planning on the financial parts to create a better understanding between Supply processes and their Financial impacts
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone that is used to, and loves to take initiative, seek responsibility and drive for results, while also have a passion for pets.

You hold a Master's degree preferable in Supply Chain, Finance or similar subject. You have a great understanding and some years of work experience from E2E Supply Chain or Finance in a multinational environment, preferably from FMCG.

You are a system super user in ERP (like Navision or NAP) while having a strong financial understanding of the business. Leading projects and process improvement initiatives in the business is a passion of yours. That also involves having great stakeholder management and strong influencing skills at different organizational levels.

Additionally, having an experience in the retail and e-commerce will serve as a plus, but it is not a must. You speak English and preferable have knowledge of one Nordic language. High level of problem solving, analytical skills and ability to turn data into insights are desired.
