Red Bull Sweden needs to temporarily strengthen our Category Team and we are now looking for our next intern! Are you a student who wants to take your talents from the classroom to the workplace? Our internship will be for the next 4 to 6 months at our head office in Stockholm, starting after the summer of 2022.In your role as a Category Management Intern you will support the Trade Marketing & Category Management team in operational (POS Management), analytical (Business Insight) and conceptual (Category Management) activities that lead to maximizing Energy Drinks and Red Bull performance across all channels. You will learn the scope of Category Management related work, project-manage a number of trade-led in store testing and implementations, derive business analysis from various sources, develop insight based category initiatives as well as create conceptual sales stories to support Key Account & Field Sales Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES Support the team by creating and implementing POS-related tools to activate category and Red Bull initiatives at customer level.
Analyze and collate post-activity results and use learnings to continuously improve initiatives.
Support, further develop and permanently analyze a variety of syndicated and internal data to track and evaluate KPIs such as sales & portfolio development, distribution, promotion and merchandising standards for the category and Red Bull.
Manage tools to improve return on investment for each activity and overall customer profitability.
Support the integration of market, consumer/shopper, category and retailer analyses & insights into customer presentations to drive category management initiatives.
Deliver sound assortment analysis, planogram and promotion recommendations.
Improve Red Bull's performance in the online sales channels whilst generating insights and actions based on the perfect online store audit.
Develop through guidance sales material and conceptual selling stories to support Key Account / Field Sales Management.
QUALIFICATIONS - Computer Skills: Windows package, strong MS Excel and MS Powerpoint capabilities are required
- Previously proven working experience, 1 internship conducted is meritorious
- Strong analytical/numerical skills and commercial acumen
- Strong ability to turn data into insight and drive insight into action
- Excellent communication skills (& experienced presenter) with the ability to conceptualize and simplify complex ideas
- Hands-on and make-it-happen attitude
- Team player with strong interpersonal and influential skills
EDUCATIONMinimum of 2 years studies of Business Administration, focus Sales or Marketing
LANGUAGEFluent in both Swedish and English.
