The Group Tax team is part of Finance Holding within the Group Finance division and consists of two positions; the Tax Director and the Indirect Tax Manager.
Group Tax facilitates and ensures that the Husqvarna Group's activities are carried out in an optimal operational as well as tax efficient manner.
The Indirect Tax Manager will work independently, but in close cooperation with the rest of the tax team and managers from other disciplines. Part of the work is international in its character and involves substantial cross-functional collaboration. Not seldom in the form of international projects. The position will amongst others have ownership of the following responsibilities:
- Indirect tax related planning
- Identify, monitor and manage indirect tax related risks
- Closely cooperate with the group strategic function Group Operations to ensure that operational initiatives properly consider indirect tax related effects
- Review and improve global and local indirect tax related processes
- Interact with and support local country officers/finance managers on indirect tax related matters.
- Continuously develop and implement best practices and controls.
You will report to the Tax Director. The position is based at the headquarters in the center of Stockholm, though some travelling is required.Your profile
You have a degree in Law and/or Finance with a comprehensive knowledge about VAT, and preferably at least 5 years of experience from working with Indirect Tax with emphasis on VAT in an international context. Your skills can originate from tax consulting and/or working as a Tax Manager in an international company.
As a person you have a strong ability to work independently, while being a team player. You are trustworthy, responsible, business- and service minded, dedicated, structured and proactive. The position also demands a high level of stakeholder management and analytical skills.
English proficiency is mandatory, and you have strong oral and written communication skills as you will consult to all levels of management and work with external consultants.
