Job description:

A Day in the Life
  • Supports marketing and sales in the introduction and market release of new products and therapies through clinical review and input to sales and marketing brochures.
  • Coordinates and liaises with the technical consultant Supervisor and district manager before delivering services within the territory.
  • Attends and participates in key professional congresses and events as required.
  • Actively approaches identified patients eligible for insulin pump replacement to ensure they switch to or maintain a Medtronic product therapy.
  • Assists physicians and nurses with device procedures when required.
  • Part-take in sales ownership of accounts within the territory.
  • Book and plan your own customer visit and activities. (training patients on insulin pump technology, both online and in field)
  • In collaboration with the Sales Representative reports all account, market, and competitive information and trends and metrics in a comprehensive, and timely fashion.
  • Reports immediately and accurately all positive and negative customer or product-related events (e.g., customer feedback, product, legal issues, and risks).
  • Carries out all administrative duties and all necessary reports in a timely and diligent manner
  • Maintains effective communication with members of the total Diabetes team (front office & back office) and communicates regarding field clinical/sales needs and issues. Become an integral part of the Diabetes Sweden Team.
Required profile:

Must Haves
  • Relevant bachelor's degree in the field (para) medical care or nursing or other relevant education.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English language.
  • At least 3 years (proven success) experience in the medical (device) or pharmaceutical industry or in a hospital environment. Relevant working experience together with my own experience as a pump user or a parent.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand various medical periodicals.
  • Must demonstrate professional business etiquette and protocol when interfacing with customers, patients, and medical professionals.
  • Strong planning, organization, and work prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) skills with customers, patients co-workers, and members of management.
  • A valid registered license in one or more of the following fields: Registered Nurse, Registered Dietitian, or Pharmacist.
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of diabetes.
  • Additional knowledge (courses and diplomas) in the field of Marketing and Sales, and/ or Business Administration.
  • Nursing experience.
