Job Description
The Data Engineering team at LeoVegas is growing and you will have the opportunity to shape its direction and create a large impact.
The team is looking for a motivated, self-starter with a drive to tackle a variety of data challenges at LeoVegas. This role is responsible for designing and maintaining the architecture of LeoVegas data analysis infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform.

  • Capture, integrate, organize, centralize and maintain LeoVegas data
  • Breaking down a high-level data engineering use case into data modelling, ETL, and orchestration
  • Architect high-performance batch and streaming data pipelines
  • Define standards to support data quality, lineage, compliance, documentation and availability
  • Collaborate with data engineers to ensure applicability to defined data architectures
  • Train and mentor engineering and support staff on topics related to data architecture and modelling
  • Performance testing and tuning of the architecture
  • Data modelling and data warehousing
  • Expertise in SQL
  • ETL and orchestration
  • Java/Python
  • A mature and professional individual who is self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Able and willing to effectively communicate across teams, actively seeking information and establishing contacts as necessary
  • Clean code, maintainable code and automatic testing is key to reaching our goals
