SEB's division Large Corporates and Financial Institutions (LC&FI) offers talented students an exciting opportunity to work with banking and finance for a few intense summer months. If you have the ambition, we will support you in growing your potential at SEB this summer!
The internship in short
Your internship starts off with an introduction to SEB and ends with a presentation of your experiences to managers, colleagues and other summer interns. As an intern, you will be involved in our daily business activities and have a great opportunity to explore the environment of global trading and commercial banking. You will be guided by at least one tutor during your internship. For more details www.sebgroup.com/career/graduates-and-students/summer-internship
What you will do
SEB Solutions is a super interesting team focusing on different aspects of investing; product development, quant and advisory. We work with Sustainable investments, Derivative strategies, Big data, Machine learning and Portfolio optimization.
Institutional Advisory is a subunit within Solutions that is responsible for providing tailored product-neutral strategic financial advisory to the largest financial institutions. Examples of what we do include risk management, portfolio diversification, hedging and quantitative modelling of sustainable investments.
As an intern you will assist in the development and improvement of financial risk and allocation models, as well as being involved in client cases from the start. This means that programming as well as client interactions are a natural part of the job. Furthermore, you will get a deep understanding of asset and liability management and work independently with e.g. financial modelling and hedging programs.
Who are you?
We are looking for an open-minded, creative and collaborative person who is eager to learn and able to take own initiatives. Ideally you have a great interest in both number crunching and financial markets as well as in the social interaction with clients. You have one or two years left of your master's degree within preferably Engineering or Economics/Finance, which have included courses in financial mathematics. In addition, practical experience from working with financial modelling and programming is highly meriting.
